Highmark Medicare Services will transition PA Part A Medicare providers to the Enterprise Data Center (EDC) effective September 25, 2007.  Transition to the EDC requires that all providers obtain a new FISS/HIQA RACF logon ID and a Personal Identification Number (PIN).

Prior to September 10, 2007,  PA Part A providers were advised to access the Highmark Medicare Services website and complete the online RACF ID PIN Request Form.  As of September 10th, the online form is no longer available.  Any provider who previously completed the form correctly will receive their RACF ID, PIN and Temporary Password at the email address provided in the request form by September 15, 2007.  Providers who did not complete the online request form will have their RACF ID, PIN and Temporary Password assigned by Highmark Medicare Services and mailed to the provider's address of record.  We expect to issue these letters by September 15, 2007.  Providers should expect to receive these letters by September 19, 2007.  Please ensure hardcopy notices are distributed to FISS ID holders in a timely manner.

Current Maryland/DC Users:

The Maryland/DC EDC transition was completed on September 4, 2007.  All providers should have received their RACF ID and Personal Identification Number (PIN).  If you have not received your RACF ID, please contact the FISS/HIQA Access Help Desk at 1-866-488-0545.
