As part of the Jurisdiction 12 (J12) Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) implementation, you will need to transition to the Highmark Medicare Services EDI Platform for uninterrupted Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) billing and report retrieval. The mission of Highmark’s Medicare EDI Services is to ensure a smooth transition of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and other system-related activities for all electronic submitters, providers, vendors, billing services, and clearinghouses to Stratus, Highmark Medicare Services’ EDI Platform.

This newsletter details all the information and requirements you need to know as well as the action steps you must take to successfully transition to the EDI Platform at Highmark Medicare Services.
